The Edmond de Rothschild Center

The Edmond de Rothschild Center, founded by the Rothschild Caesarea Foundation, is a home for art and culture. It provides students, researchers and graduates from Israel’s leading Institutions of higher education an appropriate space to display their work in the heart of the urban Tel Aviv experience.

The Center hosts cultural events, exhibitions and lectures in the field of art and science. It encourages original, innovative Israeli art, with multidimensional explorations and  productive dialogue, pertaining to the fascinating cultural fabric created by Israel’s dynamic society.

The gallery hosts temporary exhibitions; the auditorium serves as a stage for lectures, given by top experts in science and art; in the “Art the Vivre” room, visitors can share the legacy of generosity and philanthropy of the Rothschild family - A legacy of 135 years, which promotes innovation and excellence in education and culture, worldwide and in Israel.

The Center, located on Rothschild Boulevard 104, corner Sheinkin Street, resides in a modern expressionist style building, designed by architect and engineer Judah Stempler in 1928. The Rothschild Caesarea Foundation restored the abandoned building and preserved the architectural icon, while maintaining the highest conservation principles. The work was conducted by Architects: Plesner, Ilan Kedar, Haviva Even and Skorka.

We look forward to seeing you at the Edmond de Rothschild Center.
